Egyptian Lebanese company for Marble & Granite
Marble & Granite Quarring

Marble rock composed of calcium-magnesium carbonate. With the high pressure and heat rock recrystallized. Marble is a calcium-rich rock, so can take good polish.
Often Marble can occur in metamorphic rocks. Metamorphic rocks can be mica schists, phyllites, gneisses, and granulite's. Some marbles can consist of Lime or magnesia silicates minerals. Rock explosives are limited due to danger of breaking the rock. Making cuts is an easy way of splitting.

While Granite in the other hand, is igneous rock stone. Granite produces from intense high heat. Mainly granite composed of feldspar, quartz, orthoclase or microcline. Granite is the hardest natural product on earth.

  • Blasting
Marble & Granite quarrying are multistage processes by which the rock is extracted from the quarry ground. For easy extricating from quarry blast processed. Blasting process with explosive material processed through blasting compressors machines. After this process, rock leaves the quarry floor.
  • Extracting block through wire saw:
Granite is hardest stone, hence it needs extracting through diamond wire saw and chain saw. Wire saw requires less Manpower, it based on modern technique, perfect for vertical and horizontal cuts. This machine can perform both dry and wet cutting.
  • Creating space between blocks:
Hydraulic Pressure Jack used for stone quarrying. It Mainly used for create gap between two big blocks. Jack fits into gap according to jack size into place of cut. After fitting, jack attaches with the hydraulic Pressure pump. Due to pressure of the jack, gap arises in the blocks... Air pressure bag is also used for create space between blocks after cut the blocks from the quarry. It creates very strong core force to blocks; by force stone blocks get separate. Security is very crucial phase while using air pressure bag.
  • Transporting Blocks:
Transporting equipment's such as Derrick Crane, Small Crane, Back Hoe Loader and Excavator used for lifting, loading, unloading, placing, digging up, carrying material. Both Mobile cranes and stable crane are used for transporting materials.
Blocks Proccessing

Stone blocks are masses of stones, which are extracted from stone quarries. They usually have volume between 8-20 cubic feet. They are molded and carved to build statues and monuments, which are incomparable in their beauty and finishing. Blocks also produce stone slabs and tiles.

In the case of natural stone, apart from establishing both mineral mass and physical and chemical properties, it is necessary to determine the minimum volume of non-altered mineral removable. This is what is known as "block size ", whose characteristics determine, quite definitely, the profitability of a given operation. Underground mines generate much less debris than quarries, due to the fact that the bed of natural stone to be exploited can be directly extracted. However, they require a greater initial investment as, in order to reach the desired level, galleries must be cut beforehand. Once the exploitation front is reached, rock blasting is usually carried out with diamond wire or other devices with cutting elements, which allow for a well-squared prismatic block called primary block to be obtained. Subsequently, the primary block is divided into smaller pieces at the quarry. Their sizes are generally between 2-10m3 although exceptionally, and for special jobs, blocks of up to 80-90 t can be obtained. The price of the larger blocks is proportionately higher, due to the fact that it is difficult to obtain them intact. In the particular case of roofing slates, the primary block, which is called “rachón”, is a completely irregular shape, is smaller in size and it weighs about 5 t.
